The new AEVI Yearbook of 2022 has just been launched in which we participate. This year’s data shows that the video game sector billed 2,012 million euros, a figure that reveals a growth of 12.09% over the previous year, mainly due to the increase in the percentage of online sales. Also, the number of users exceeds 18 million video players, with a significant presence of the number of women players, which increased to represent practically 47% of the total users, in line with other countries in our environment, such as Germany, the United Kingdom or France.
